Atlanta Women in Business
Atlanta Women in Business, established in 1992, is an organization with a diverse membership of business, career and professional women. Its mission is to provide networking and educational opportunities, in adherence to these three principles: (1) always tell the truth [no hype!], (2) never promise more than can be delivered, and (3) always try to deliver more than has been promised. "If women don't support women in the workplace, who will . . . . .?"

The Atlanta Women’s Foundation is Georgia’s only public foundation focused solely on women and girls. Our vision is for all women and girls to live lives of dignity, hope and possibility. We do this through strategic grant making, leadership development, advocacy and public education.

Georgia Commission on Women
Georgia Commission on Women is a statutory commission created by the Georgia Legislature in 1992 to look at the laws of Georgia and their impact on women, to make recommendations to the Governor, the Legislature and the Congress, to do research, hold conferences and public hearings, to publish, inform and encourage women in Georgia. The Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House each appoint five commissioners to four year terms on the fifteen member board, whose Mission is "to advance the health, educational, economic, social and legal status of women in Georgia."

National Association of Women Business Owners
NAWBO-Atlanta is "About Women…About Success." We are the voice of the 240,000 Women Business Owners in Georgia, who employed over 1 million people and generated more than $180 billion in revenue in 2001.Georgia leads the nation in the growth of women-owned businesses. Our mission is to foster and promote the success of women business owners. NAWBO-Atlanta embraces a diverse and inclusive membership; as the only organization focused on the issues and concerns unique to WBOs, we provide:

-Education and communication among our members and community
-Information on securing capital, grants and procurement opportunities
-Legislative advocacy for the concerns of women business owners

Through presentation of the WE Awards, NAWBO-Atlanta recognizes outstanding Women Entrepreneurs and their achievements annually. We support community charities through the WE Fund grants.
